Ms. Diana del Rosario currently writes on thematic issues pertinent to the ASEAN+3 region, such as global supply chains and climate-related risks, and contributes to the development of macro-financial tools using a blend of traditional indicators and big data. She also supports the MFR Head in developing medium-term work strategies.
Ms. del Rosario joined AMRO in 2017 as the primary economist for the Philippines. She later transitioned to cover Malaysia from 2018 until early 2023. During her tenure as country economist, Ms. del Rosario also supported the Japan, Korea, and Myanmar country teams as well as the Regional and Financial Surveillance teams.
Prior to joining AMRO, she spent four years as an ASEAN Economist at Deutsche Bank in Singapore. She also previously served as a consultant on macroeconomic issues at the Asian Development Bank and World Bank in Manila.
Ms. del Rosario holds a MSc degree in Economics from Singapore Management University, specializing in DSGE modelling, and a BSc in Chemistry from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.
