ASEAN+3 maintained solid growth in the first half of 2026. AMRO has raised the region’s growth forecast to 4.1% in 2026 and maintained its 2027 forecast at 4.0%, as robust AI-driven demand offset headwinds from the Middle East conflict. Inflation has been broadly contained and is projected to be 1.6% in both 2026 and 2027, reflecting assumption of lower global oil prices.

However, uncertainty remains elevated, with key risks centered on the Middle East conflict and the AI-driven technology cycle.
