Mr. Sota Nejime joined AMRO as an Associate Researcher for the Surveillance team in October 2021. This was part of the Secondment Program organized in conjunction with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) of Japan.

Prior to joining AMRO, Mr. Nejime worked for JBIC from April 2016 as a loan officer in the New Energy and Power Finance Department II. He oversaw export finance projects through East Asia and Southeast Asia regions such as Vietnam and Mongolia. In addition, he served as a member of the Japanese delegation to the Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility (CGIF), which is the trust fund of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and conducted capital increase from JBIC to CGIF.

Mr. Nejime holds Masters in Economics from the University College London, UK, and Bachelors in Economics from the University of Tokyo, Japan.
