Mr. Dac Toan Nguyen joined AMRO as an Associate in 2024 and is part of the country surveillance group, covering Vietnam and Korea. He covers the banking sector and financial stability assessments.
Before joining AMRO, he spent nine years at the State Bank of Vietnam, where he worked on macroprudential tools and the monitoring financial sector risks. In addition, he has contributed to key policy initiatives, particularly in the areas of banking supervision and systemic risk oversight.
Mr. Nguyen holds a Master’s degree in Science from the University of Toulon, France, and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Queensland, Australia. He is also a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
