The escalation of US tariff measures since early 2025 has introduced significant uncertainty for ASEAN+3 economies, with successive rounds of reciprocal tariffs, sectoral measures, and ongoing trade negotiations reshaping the external environment for the region’s exporters.
This dashboard can be used to track tariff developments over time, examine the composition of exposure across products and sectors, and assess the relative importance of the US market for individual economies and for the region as a whole.
To provide an estimate of the effective tariffs faced by each economy, trade-weighted tariff rates are calculated with applicable US tariffs at the HS 4 or 6-digit level, excluding the exemptions; where official measures do not specify HS codes, the closest corresponding product categories are used.
