ASEAN+3 Regional Economic Outlook 2024 Roadshows: Phnom Penh, Cambodia

The ASEAN+3 Regional Economic Outlook (AREO) 2024 report provides a comprehensive assessment of conjunctural and structural issues in the ten members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and China, Hong Kong, China, Japan, and Korea and has also reassessed the economic and financial scarring inflicted by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as examined three key long-term trends shaping the economic landscape of the region going forward, in particular rapid aging, the ongoing global trade reconfiguration, and rapid technological change.

As part of the AREO’s outreach campaign, Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI) and AMRO are pleased to co-organize the joint seminar AREO 2024 Cambodia Outreach Seminar: Navigating Tomorrow to present the report and serve as a platform for Cambodian policymakers, economists, and experts to weigh in on the findings, exchange views on the structural challenges that lie ahead for Cambodia—especially on trade reconfiguration and technological change—and share perspectives on the key policy priorities and areas for regional cooperation that will ensure resilient and sustainable long-term growth in ASEAN+3.
