BCLMV Seminar 2025

Organized by AMRO and supported by the Ministry of Finance of Lao PDR and Bank of the Lao PDR, the BCLMV (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, the Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam) seminar will be held from December 9 -12, 2025.

A core pillar of AMRO’s TA Strategy 2030 is to deliver more tailored training and capacity-development programs, especially for Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam. This seminar supports that objective by providing comprehensive training and a platform for open discussion. It will enable BCLMV officials from finance ministries and central banks to deepen their understanding of key macroeconomic and supervisory issues, and to exchange views and practical experiences relevant to their economies and the region.

The seminar will be conducted in two phases. The first two days, designed for officials from finance ministries, will focus on the regional economic outlook, fiscal rules, green taxation, sustainable finance, and domestic bond market development. The second two days, intended for central banks and regulatory authorities, will cover the Basel III transition, capital and liquidity management, risk-based supervision, and climate-related financial risks.
