Mr. Michael Wynn is a Research Analyst in the Macro-Financial Research Group (MFR), specializing in big data analysis and the development of analytical tools for macroeconomic surveillance. Since joining AMRO in January 2023, he has contributed to the construction of financial risk indicators and nowcasting models using machine learning, as well as research on climate change risks. He also supports surveillance work for Thailand.
Prior to AMRO, he analyzed labor market trends at the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore, in order to support Singapore’s manpower development policies in the financial sector. He had also worked as a data analyst at EDHEC Infra & Private Assets, where he supported the modelling of cashflow projections.
Mr. Wynn is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He holds a Master of Applied Data Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Queensland, Australia.
