Mr. Ivan Lim joined AMRO in 2024. As a member of the Financial Surveillance Group, he monitors financial sector developments and risks to financial stability across the region, and contributes to AMRO’s flagship publication, the ASEAN+3 Financial Stability Report (AFSR). He is also part of the Vietnam country surveillance team.
Prior to joining AMRO, he was a faculty member at Durham University in the United Kingdom. His research centered on bank risk-taking, prudential supervision and regulation, and the evolving structure of financial intermediation. His articles have appeared in leading field journals, including the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and the Journal of Corporate Finance.
Mr. Lim holds a Ph.D. in Finance and a Master’s in Finance and Investment from the University of Edinburgh.
