SINGAPORE, September 27, 2019 – Mr. Yoon Kyung Kim and Mr. Wenxing Pan are appointed to be Deputy Director for Administration and Deputy Director for Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralization Support, Strategy & Coordination of the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) respectively.

Both appointments are made by the AMRO Director, based on the recommendation by an interview panel consisting of six members from ASEAN +3 countries and AMRO Director, in line with the competitive international recruitment practice. The appointments were endorsed by AMRO’s Executive Committee, which comprises of the Deputies of ASEAN+3 Finance Ministries and Central Banks.

Prior to joining AMRO, Mr. Kim was the Director General in the International Finance Bureau of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Korea and Mr. Pan served as a Division Director in the International Economic Relations Department of the Ministry of Finance of China.

Their three-year term commences today, September 27, 2019.
