Mr. Yuthan Chea joined AMRO as an Associate under the Secondment Program for a one-year term in January 2021. He contributes to Cambodia’s macroeconomic surveillance, particularly on issues related to the external, monetary and financial sectors.

Prior to joining AMRO, Mr. Chea worked at the National Bank of Cambodia since December 2012. As a Section Chief in Economic Research and International Cooperation Department, he was involved in assessing external and domestic macroeconomic development and risks, and contributing to the preparation of the Financial Stability Review.

Mr. Chea obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Hitotsubashi University, Japan, in 2017 under the JICA’s scholarship program.
