Mr. VansopheaktraOdorm Tep joined AMRO as an Associate in July 2023, supporting fiscal and country surveillance work for Cambodia and Malaysia. He was seconded from the Cambodia’s Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF).

In Cambodia MEF, Mr. Tep served as a junior economist in the Statistics and Economic Analysis Department. His work involved inflation forecasting, compilation of macroeconomic and sectoral data, preparation of economic analysis reports, and research on diverse economic events.

Mr. Tep holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Banking from the National University of Management in Cambodia, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from the SETEC institute, Cambodia. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Applied Business at Charles Sturt University, Australia.
