Ms. Chanthevivanh Keobounphanh is currently serving as an Advisor to the Strategy and Coordination Group (SCG) under AMRO’s Secondment Program. She also supports AMRO’s surveillance work for Lao PDR, Technical Assistance (TA), as well as the Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralisation (CMIM).
Prior to joining AMRO, Ms. Keobounphanh worked at the Bank of the Lao PDR (BOL) as Deputy Director General of International Cooperation Department. Her experience includes bilateral, multilateral and regional financial cooperation and negotiation involving the World Trade Organization in the banking sector, Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) in banking sector, ASEAN and ASEAN+3 financial cooperation and promoting bilateral financial cooperation with other strategic counterparts.
Before joining BOL, Ms. Keobounphanh was an officer at the Banque Pour Le Commerce Exterieur Lao (Public) for four years, undertaking banking services, screening and reviewing credit applications as well as monitoring non-performing loans.
Ms. Keobounphanh holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance from the Rattana Business Administration College in collaboration with Santapol College, Thailand, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the Lao-American College.
