AMRO Financial Stability Excellency Workshop

The Financial Stability Excellence Workshop was organized by AMRO for the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Korea, and aims to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing between FSC and AMRO.

The event commenced with a welcome address by AMRO Deputy Director Dong-Ick Kim. Beomhee Han, AMRO CMIM Group Head, presented the “Status and Challenges of CMIM (Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralisation)”. AMRO Capacity Development Expert Aziz Durrani also shared supervisory lessons from the collapse of RBS and the inception of the Basel III/IV framework. Jae Young Lee, Group Head and Lead Economist, delivered a presentation titled “Cracking the Code: Understanding ASEAN Economies Through Keywords”. This presentation is an assessment of the economic and financial market conditions in the ASEAN region and discussions on future outlook.

This event serves as a valuable platform for discussing financial stability and cooperation in the ASEAN+3 region.
