AMRO-BSP Joint Roundtable Discussion on Liquidity Forecasting

The ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO)’s Technical Assistance (TA) function, together with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), will host a Joint Roundtable Discussion on Liquidity Forecasting on 25 September 2024 in Singapore. The Roundtable will be held prior to the 67th Executives’ Meeting of East Asia Pacific (EMEAP) Deputies’ and Related Meetings on 26-27 September 2024.
This roundtable is part of AMRO’s new TA Strategy 2030, providing enhanced capacity development and shared learning opportunities for all its member economies. The discussion will bring together experts from international organizations including AMRO and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and central banks from the ASEAN+3 economies to learn from best practice on liquidity forecasting and management. It will help enhance knowledge on how relevant information should be collected and monitored to ensure liquidity forecasting and market operations are better calibrated across the region.
