ASEAN+3 is projected to grow 4.0% in 2026 and 2027 supported by domestic demand and tech-driven exports. Inflation is forecast to rise to 1.4% in 2026 and 1.5% in 2027, reflecting higher global energy prices.
Conflict in the Middle East and global energy supply disruptions have materially increased downside risks. As uncertainty rises, preserving policy flexibility is critical to preventing worse outcomes and enabling timely response.
This year’s report also examines ASEAN+3’s deep structural transformation toward a more regionally anchored economy with stronger intraregional linkages.
