Call for Papers: Conference on “Fiscal and Monetary Policies in Developing Economies for Navigating Fragmentation Risks”

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) are pleased to announce the Conference on “Fiscal and Monetary Policies in Developing Economies for Navigating Fragmentation Risks”, to be held in-person in Singapore on May 20-21, 2026.

The conference will focus on how emerging and developing economies can adapt fiscal and monetary policies to navigate growing fragmentation risks while safeguarding macroeconomic stability and fostering resilient growth. We are seeking original, unpublished papers that explore innovative approaches and evidence-based strategies that can enhance the effectiveness of fiscal and monetary frameworks amid elevated fragmentation risks.

Announcement of Accepted Papers: 30 March 2026
Conference Date: 20-21 May 2026

Papers presented at the conference will also be considered for publication in a special issue of the Journal of International Money and Finance (JIMF) following a fast-track review process.
