Mr. Renold Abdi joined AMRO’s CMIM Support Group in October 2024. His work focuses on CMIM-related issues, including reviewing the CMIM interest rate, strengthening members’ CMIM modalities, and enhancing CMIM operational readiness.
Before joining AMRO, Mr. Renold served as a Senior Economist at Bank Indonesia (BI), where he spent 13 years analyzing external sector performance and the transmission of monetary policy in Indonesia. His research also addressed challenges related to external balance, international trade, and financial markets.
Mr. Renold holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and a Bachelor of Economics from Universitas Padjadjaran in Bandung, Indonesia.
