On May 4, 2017, the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) launches its ASEAN+3 Regional Economic Outlook (AREO) 2017, an annual flagship report on regional surveillance. The report assesses the macroeconomic outlook and financial stability in the ASEAN+3 region (comprising the ten ASEAN economies, China (including Hong Kong), Japan and Korea), and includes a thematic study on the region 20 years after the Asian Financial Crisis.
