Mr. Chanwoo Lee has had over 30 years of experience in the Korean Ministry of Finance and Economy, having served in key positions including Policy Advisor to the Minister, Director General for Economic Policy, and most recently as the Deputy Minister. After his term in the Ministry, he took on a leadership role of First Senior Deputy Governor at the Financial Supervisory Service.

During his government career, Mr. Lee also worked in international organizations, including as Senior Co-financing Officer at the World Bank from 2002 to 2005. He was Head of Government Delegation for the OECD Economic Development Review Committee in 2015.

Mr. Lee is Visiting Professor at the Seoul National University and Senior Fellow at the Korea Development Institute.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from Yale University, as well as a Master of Arts in Public Administration and a Bachelors in Political Science from Seoul National University.
