Zhenyu Yuan was seconded to AMRO from the Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China (CMOF). Her two-year term as an Assistant in the Technical Assistance (TA) team started in November 2019.

Ms. Yuan provided support in implementing TA programs, including secondments, consultancies, research collaborations, trainings and seminars. She also assisted in managing TA trust funds and liaising with contributors to and recipients of technical assistance.

Prior to joining AMRO, Ms. Yuan worked as a Program Coordinator with the CMOF affiliated Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Institute; an organization which promotes capacity building in finance and development among Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) member economies.

Between 2015 and 2017, Ms. Yuan worked for CMOF’s Department of International Economic Relations as a secondee.

Ms. Yuan holds a master’s in Political Science and International Relations and a bachelor’s in Public Administration. Both degrees were received from East China Normal University.
