Ms. Nanami Shigyo joined AMRO in July 2025 as a member of the CMIM Support team, where she focuses on strategic enhancements to the CMIM, including the periodic review of the CMIM Agreement and the review of the IMF De-linked Portion.
Before joining AMRO, she held various roles at Japan’s Ministry of Finance, contributing to ASEAN+3 financial cooperation, CMIM policy formulation, and bilateral currency swap arrangements. She also worked on development finance and multilateral development bank operations. Her overseas experience includes serving as Finance Attaché at the Embassy of Japan in Indonesia, where she engaged in infrastructure financing, policy dialogue, and regional coordination.
