Andrea Salvador

Strategy and Coordination Officer

Ms. Andrea Salvador serves as a Strategy and Coordination Officer in the Strategy and Coordination Group under AMRO’s Secondment Program. She handles AMRO’s partnership engagements with peer institutions, provides support to the ASEAN+3 Finance Process, and serves as a specialist in the Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralisation (CMIM) support group.

Prior to her secondment, she held the position of Bank Officer V in the International Affairs Group (Regional, East Asia Pacific) of the International Relations and Surveillance Department of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

Ms. Salvador has extensive experience in international relations and regional cooperation and integration. She has been working in the past 14 years on central bank international affairs, including technical support and international coordination functions to ensure the Philippine central bank’s strategic engagement in international, regional, and multilateral forums on monetary and financial cooperation.

She started her career in the BSP in 2008 as an External Debt Specialist in the International Affairs Group of the International Department and has honed her skills as an international relations expert.

Ms. Salvador holds a Master of Arts in Globalization and Economic Development from the Institute of Development Policy and Management of the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
