2019 was an eventful year, marked by the US-China trade tensions, geopolitical conflicts, domestic political unrest, market sell-offs, and extreme weather conditions. As the ASEAN+3 region closed the chapter on a brighter note with the conclusion of the US-China Phase 1 deal, the COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan, China, erupted.
