The ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) is seeking a Facilities & Project Manager in the Budget, Human Resource & Support Services (BHRSS) Team.

The Facilities & Project Manager will serve as the single point of accountability for AMRO’s day-to-day facilities management and small-to-medium office projects. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, vendor/contractor coordination, project delivery, safety and compliance, and practical workspace support. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role requiring both operational reliability and project management capabilities.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage office facilities operations and preventive/corrective maintenance (HVAC, lighting, pantry, repairs) to ensure comfort, safety, and minimal downtime.
  • Plan and deliver small-to-medium office works and projects (e.g., reconfigurations, relocations, renovations, upgrades), from scope definition through completion.
  • Act as AMRO’s primary point of contact for facilities vendors and contractors, ensuring performance, compliance with AMRO procurement procedures, and adherence to service standards.
  • Oversee safety, security, and compliance matters, including fire safety, workplace safety, and security access systems.
  • Maintain facilities documentation, prepare recommendation notes, and provide clear updates and dashboards to management.

 

Institutional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with AMRO’s internal procurement and administrative policies and procedures.
  • Promote workplace safety, security, and sustainability in line with Singapore regulations and landlord requirements.
  • Provide timely and professional service to AMRO staff and stakeholders in all facilities-related matters.

 

The candidate should possess:

  • Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction/Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in facilities operations and project delivery within commercial office environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, lighting, M&E systems, and regulatory compliance (BCA, SCDF, WSH).
  • Experience in vendor/contractor management and office projects; familiarity with procurement processes.
  • Certifications: PMP (preferred), Fire Safety Manager (FSM) strongly preferred or willingness to obtain within the first year.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder service skills; proficiency in MS Office and ability to review drawings.
