On April 2, AMRO Executive Committee, which comprises of Deputies of ASEAN+3 Ministers of Finance and Central Bank governors, decided to appoint Ms Junhong Chang as the next AMRO Director.

Ms Chang’s appointment is made based on the recommendation by an interview panel comprising of 6 Deputies members from ASEAN+3 countries, in line with the competitive international recruitment practice.

Ms Chang is currently serving as Deputy Director General of the Department of International Economic Relations of the Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China.

Her term will be for three years, starting on May 27, 2016.
