Dr. Andriansyah joined AMRO as a Fiscal Specialist in September 2020. He also supports macroeconomic surveillance for Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia.

Prior to joining AMRO, he was a Senior Policy Analyst and Deputy Director at the Fiscal Policy Agency of the Ministry of Finance in Indonesia.

Dr. Andriansyah started his career at the Indonesian Ministry of Finance in 1999 and held various positions at the Capital Market Supervisory Agency, the Capital Market and Financial Institutions Supervisory Agency, and the Directorate General of Taxes, before joining the Fiscal Policy Agency in 2016.

Dr. Andriansyah completed his Ph.D. in Economics at Victoria University in Australia. He also holds a Master of Finance from the Australian National University and a Bachelor in Statistics from Bogor Agricultural University in Indonesia.

Dr. Andriansyah has published articles in scholarly journals, such as the Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Economic Record, Bulletin of Indonesian Economic Studies, Journal of Economic Studies, and International Journal of Managerial Finance.
